I was in Bali for a wedding..
What can be more romantic than be married in a blissful island? It was a breathtakingly beautiful wedding...I would give up anything to marry a man who propose to marry me in a paradise island like this.. ;)
I believe the legend says that those who marry on this island remain in love forever.
It's not surprising though.. It was like in heaven when I saw the clear, simple, elegant pavilion made of glass surrounded by running waterfall and tiered pools, and a central glass aisle filled with colored glass rocks leading to the altar which sits perfectly in parallel with the horizon.
There's a cross in the background which looks as if floating on the Indian Ocean. The clear blue skies and ocean views as backdrop, it's just
so...relaxed and romantic. By just being in the chapel, I could feel love is in the air. Yeah.. love should feel this way.. Simple, comfortable, relaxed natural. Unlike the conventional close to home weddings, most of the time I felt it's so...tensed and serious.
Some weddings which I attended back home, the bride was so stressed until she threatened to walk away if the bridegroom doesn't do what she said at that time! I couldn't see myself having custom wedding, I think my family will understand.. if I ever be married(finger crossed).:) I long for more relaxed and informal ceremony so everyone can enjoy the celebration more..
They've got a hot pastor *wink! " when he blessed them in the name of God...he said something funny..".. Si suami Berjanji akan menjadikan isterimu satu-satunya, bukan salah satunya..." (...promise to take your wife as your one and only.. Not one of the many..")

It was an emotional reception.. Later we adjourned for cocktail at the cliff oversees the Indian Ocean, where the couple released a pair of pigeons and some balloons to signify peace and love. So.. So.. Beautiful...
There's a live band which played jazz love songs...no one can ever forget such romantic ambience.:) The evening highlight was *Liz and Iwan's passionate dance and kiss under the moonlight and a sky brightened up by the magical fireworks...
To me, the wedding was...perfect and truly memorable one.. I'm so happy for you, Liz.

1 Let's Talk:
:) It's my dream wedding too. Too bad my parents could not strip off their ego and they "had" to invite every single relative to my upcoming wedding. To them, the more the merrier.
